High Priority:

Ardblair Herbaceous Bed

Priority: High

Current status:

  • Autumn tidy done

Progress:

  • Weeded & tidied a few times in 2021
  • Pampas grass removed

To do:

  • Slabs to be laid
  • More planting/pruning/removal
  • Edging

Bridge stone corner bed

Priority: High

Current status:

  • Sustainable planting put in, sponsored by Rotary Club.

Progress:

  • Weeded & tidied

To do:

  • Bulbs for spring 2022 to be planted

Coronation Corner

Priority: High

Current status:

  • Hard landscaping finished
  • Planting completed
  • Bulbs for spring to go in

Progress:

  • Weeded & tidied

To do:

  • Issue of surface to be followed up by TAPiP with Drypave rep.  
  • Mural/s for wall – meeting 4/11 with Andrew Barrie & Martin Mcguiness

Thistle Bed, Golf Course Road corner

Priority: High

Current status:

  • Autumn tidy done

Progress:

  • Weeded and tidied

To do:

  • Edging

Medium Priority:

Ardblair Shrub bed

Current status:

  • Tidied up late summer 2021

  • Weeded and tidied a couple of times in 2021

Balmoral Road corner

Priority: Medium

Current status:

  • Two refurbished containers to be emptied

Progress:

  • Wooden containers removed and skipped

  • Some winter planting and/or bulbs to go in

Bus Stances bed & barrier baskets

Priority: Medium

Current status:

  • New planting put in and planting for edging on order

Progress:

  • Waiting for new edging plants to arrive

  • Bulbs to be planted and new edging when it arrives

Rattray Church & Old Cross container

Priority: Medium

Current status:

  • New planting completed
  • Bulbs planted in Church bed

Progress:

  • Weeded and tidied

  • Winter planting to go in container

Reform Street stone beds

Priority: Medium

Current status:

  • Sustainable planting put in but more needed

The Meeting Place, Croft Lane

Priority: Medium

Current status:

  • Wall repointed by Jean Laburn
  • Community Payback painting woodwork
  • Weeded and tidied    

Progress:

  • Damaged sleepers to be replaced
  • Bob Smith asked to quote for replacing gravel surface

To do:

  • Funding to be sourced to replace gravel with solid surface
  • Meeting with Gordon Croll to discuss new surface

Low Priority:

Elm Drive roundabout

Priority: Low

Current status:

  • Strimmed and weed killed early Spring 2021

Progress:

  • On hold

To do:

  • Contact builder to see if they would sponsor area

Parkhead corner

Priority: Low

Current status:

  • Containers removed

Progress:

  • Containers at Mount Ericht for painting and repair
  • Winter planting complete

To do:

  • No action needed till spring

Riverside Terraces

Priority: Low

Current status:

  • Remains a mess, despite a few working parties over the summer to tidy it up.

Progress:

  • No further progress

To do:

  • On hold

Street containers

Priority: Low

Current status:

  • Small containers refurbished and placed at Mitchells corner and Balmoral Rd corner

Progress:

  • Large container at toilets to be refurbished as bottom falling out

To do:

  • Summer planting to be removed
  • Winter planting & bulbs now complete

Wellmeadow

Priority: Low

Current status:

  • Two sides of Wellmeadow cleared by PKC contractors in March

Progress:

  • No further progress


To do:

  • On hold until spring

Westfields

Priority: Low

Current status:

  • Bike to be emptied and removed when time

Progress:

  • Ongoing discussions with PKC as to ownership of this piece of land.
  • PKC Housing dealing with broken down wall.

To do:

  • Dependent on who owns the land
  • Possible site for Open Spaces
